Bathroom Remodel Project – Days 5 & 6

Plenty of work happened on days 5 and 6, but the progress wasn’t as visible, since the big stuff is done for now. Most of the work was around electrical – removing old lights, planning for new ones, locating outlets and switches, and routing cable. Exciting! One might even say it was enlightening.

Bathroom Remodel Project – Day 4

Demolition is done! Now it’s time to watch the new bathroom take shape. It’s starts with framing. There’s the new entrance, widened to 48″ for a pocket door (better move that pipe!), a new pocket door for the toilet room, and the relocated linen closet.

More demolition … and noise. We saw lots of progress in removing everything and heard it too. Remarkably, Riley (our 14-year-old labradoodle) appears to be taking it in stride.
